Is the colour the same of the wall console and mirror?

If you order the wall console and console mirror at the same time they will be made and coloured at the same time, Now there will be no colour difference.

If you order the console table and mirror separately then there may be colour difference because everything is coloured by hand.

What material is the console mirror made of?

All Baroque Mirror®'s console mirrors are made of wood and are hand-coloured in black and white or hand-gilded with silver leaf or gold leaf.

It is also sometimes used as a dressing table in a hair salon.

How is a console mirror coloured?

A beautiful golden console mirror is gilded with gold or silver leaf. The gilding is done with thin sheets, which allows you to see the craftsmanship and gives the gold or silver mirror extra character and value. After gilding, a layer of lacquer is applied for protection.

A gold console mirror is pure gold leaf without any processing.
An antique-gold console mirror is gilded with gold leaf, then patinated for an antique look.

Console mirrors can also be ordered in high-gloss or matt black and white colours.

What is the best way to clean a console mirror and table?

Never use aggressive cleaning agents.
You can dry dust the wall console with a duster.
Wipe wet with a damp cloth using plain water or natural soap, e.g. soapy water with a little green soap. Green soap does not affect the gold-plated material.

Please note, this advice only applies to the wall consoles of Baroque Mirror® from Italy, which are of high quality.
Gilded wall consoles from the Far East, Egypt or China have a different quality and you often read that the gilded material from these countries comes off with cleaning.
