Is the colour the same of the wall console and mirror?

If you order the wall console and mirror at the same time then they will be made and coloured at the same time, Now there will be no colour difference.

If you order the console table and mirror separately then there may be colour difference because everything is coloured by hand.

What material is the console table made of?

All the wall consoles and console tables from Barokspiegel® are made of wood and are hand-coloured in black and white or hand-gilded with silver leaf or gold leaf.

How is a wall console side table coloured?

A beautiful golden wall console is gilded with gold leaf or silver leaf. The gilding is done with thin sheets, which allows you to see the craftsmanship and gives the gold or silver sidetable extra character and value. After gilding, a layer of lacquer is applied for protection.

A gold sidetable is pure gold leaf without any processing.
An antique-gold sidetable is gilded with gold leaf, then patinated for an antique look.

What is the best way to clean a gilded console table?

Never use aggressive cleaning agents.
You can dry dust the wall console with a duster or feather duster.
With a damp cloth wet wipe with plain water or with natural soap, e.g. soapy water with a little green soap. Green soap does not affect the gold-plated material.
